Agnelli LLTW14-Notice for wait list

Postby alden » Mon Feb 15, 2010 3:02 pm

Gentlemen

There is quite a bit of interest in the TW14 Agnelli suiting being delivered now. The wait list now stands at over 30m of orders and so I have asked about the feasibility of doing another run so all the members can get some of the cloth. We need to get to 40m to do the add on run.

If any of you would like to participate in the TW14 issue, other than those of you who are already enrolled on the wait list, please write me to subscribe now. If we can get a few more orders, we can get the cloth made.

Cheers

I am happy to report that we now have enough orders to do another small run of the TW14 for all the members who were on the waiting list.

This is a last call. Some of you on the waiting list have not confirmed and your orders will not be taken into account if you do not do so. There will not be a second rerun of this fabric, so subscribe now or forever look for another piece. :)

Cheers

Photos taken by a 2 megapixel iPhone camera (sorry):

I realized a solid navy blue tie would go best with the navy blue in the windowpane (I experimented with a charcoal dot tie today).

I tried a simple baby blue cotton shirt (compliments of bespoke shirt maker Freddy Vandecasteele in the Los Angeles area)...but would welcome members comments if perhaps a white or blue windowpane shirt would work well with this suit?

Upon delivery, I was concerned the pattern was bolder than I had imagined, but my suit came out more subtle and to my liking.

At 14oz, I found it suitably comfortable and warm...but it feels lighter than the 14oz Triple Overcheck from Fox Flannel. I definitly would opt for the Triple Overcheck if I wanted something a tad bit warmer.

Here is how it looks matched with a black balmoral...compliments of Gaziano & Girling's MTO program. I can't see myself mixing in any other color shoe...besides maybe midnight blue.

The cloth is very subtle and elegant as your photos illustrate. Thanks for posting them. I really do look forward to seeing some of the suits that are made from the Agnelli.

The second run was a blessing...
I hope it will be ready soon, that was the third fitting (!) btw.

Plenty of waist suppression on a DB jacket (I like it)....if only I could thin out a bit

I'm quite the opposite...I prefer my clothes to be quite loose in the seat and jacket (witness the loose fit in my above pics)
