You have asked for it and here it is ...again. The rather legendary TW9 Estate Tweed Suiting.

Probably the most stunning tweed suiting we have made in the LL and a worthy project for our 2oth Anniversary celebration

For those of us newer to the forum, written descriptions are helpful as the names mean nothing, and the photos aren't always the clearest.

I take it this is a dark brown herringbone, with some navy alternating with the brown in every second herringbone stripe?

Double crimson, alternating with rust colored stripes, I think.

We have made the TW9 twice and there are discussions about this cloth on the LL

The TW9 is a 625 gms Estate tweed in a brown herringbone with. a dark brown stripe and a crimson double stripe

Looking forward to getting this out of storage. I just had it altered by the shop-- to trim trousers and jacket waist, and lengthen the outside of the sleeves, which took a little reweaving of buttonholes.

Should be just the thing for the dead of winter in England, especially with the waistcoat.

It would be great to get some pictures, please, if you can find the time.
