Re: Hats - true bespoke

worth and worth in NYC on 57 st makes bespoke hats for me. the lining, the hatband, the brin width, the material are all made to my specs. However, I use stock sizes. I have a brown hat from him with a purple hat band that is a sexual experience. At least, what passes for a sexual experience for a m...

Re: Unlined Linen Coats

I like the half or 3/4 lined.

the issue is always how wrinkled to let them get-i like pretty wrinkled, when they are just a little wrinkled, it looks sloppy. if they're really wrinkled you look either chic, affected chic, or passed out for three days in the suit chic.

Re: Bespoke Overcoat

sheesh. I guess I am missing something. i have two blue overcoats. One is double breasted with a brown velvet collar and a belt in the back. one is single breasted with the buttons hidden and a peak label and cuffs. ok. I'm old but I like navy topcoats.

i like them very much, the horsehair car coats are very heavy but he will special order in order leathers and I like. They look better on men with shoulders and arms that are not heavy.
Frankly, they look like what "ihitters" wear. strong, long wearing and sturdy.

I have some wonderful tweed jackets. When can I wear them? I don't wear them at my second home and I don't wear them to work?

I am thinking of wearing them to work on days when I don't have any meetings or court appearances

But if I do that will I pay for it in the next life?

I don't know how you're built but I had a brown/black houndstooth from A & S years ago that was fairly large and it looked great.
Personally, I think the grey and white is a bit small.

I have pants like that and regret it
