Jimmy Walker was a favorite subject of the great Mexican artist and caricaturist Miguel Covarrubias, who helped define the style of the magazine
Vanity Fair during the 1930s.
From his series of "Impossible Interviews," Covarrubias here portrays Walker with ex-king Alfonso XIII of Spain, who went into exile in 1931 upon the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic:
